A. ADAS, or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are technologies that alert and help us drive our vehicles more safely. Examples include Lane Departure Warning Systems, Emergency Braking Systems, Collision Alert Systems, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

Many car manufacturers require a recalibration after winshield replacements because many of the sensing devices and cameras are mounted onto the windshield. This means that during a windshield repair or replacement the sensors might be adjusted and need to be recalibrated so that they funcion correctly.

We acquired this technology to decrease your repair time by up to 2 days. You can now have your windshield repaired and ADAS recalibrated, all at our conveniently located Bennett Glass and Mirror Prescott location.

A. While every vehicle manufacturer utilizes a unique calibration process, our certified technicians are well versed in a wide array of recalibrations and can usually complete the additional work within an hour after replacing your windshield.

A. YES! Please be sure to bring your vehicle with the tires properly inflated, the gas tank full, and the trunk empty. This will ensure that your vehicle is properly positioned to adjust the cameras according to the manufacturer's design specifications.
